LARGE ATTENDANCE AT FUNERAL OF THE LATE MR A. L. SMITH.
The funeral of the late Albert Lamb Smith was held this morning. The respect in which he was held was shown by the large attendance at the funeral. The cortege left his late residence, 166, Rossall Street, for the Riccarton Churchyard. The Rev H. T. Yorke conducted the service at the graveside. Mr A. V. Smith, Mr George Arn£ strong (Akaroa), Mr F. Pyne, Mr W. B. Pyne and Miss Smith were the chief mourners.
