TRADE DEVELOPMENT WITH OLD COUNTRY.

A deputation of the Co-operati ( ve Wholesale Society of London and Manchester are visiting New Zealand to extend further the society’s interests in regard to the supply of dairy produce and meat. They have travelled through the North Island and have seen the the great possibilities that exist for trade development between the Dominion and the Homeland. The party consists of Messrs T. J. Hanson, T. Liddle, D. A. M’Ewan (directors), and Mr J. W. Justham (an official of the organisation), who are at present in Christchurch. Mr R. Ellison, who is accompanying the deputation, is managing director of the New Zealand Produce Association, Ltd., of London. The deputation will leave for the south to-morrow.
