Next Saturday the seventh round of games is to be played in the grades controlled by the Canterbury Boys’ Cricket Association the following being the draw:— First grade (under sixteen years) Boys’ High School A v. Boys’ High School B, Straven Road No. 1; High School Old Boys, a bye; Christ's College B v. St Andrew’s College, St Andrew’s College No. 1; Technical College B v. Technical College A, Hospital Corner No. 6; Christ’s College A v. West Christchurch District High School, Hospital Corner No. 7. Second grade (under fifteen years)— Technical College A v. St Bede’s College A, to be played on Wednesday, October G, at St Bede’s College; St Andrew’s College A v. Boys’ High School A, Straven Road No. 2; Riccarton v. MALVERN SUB-ASSOCIATION In the Malvern Cricket Sub-Associa-tion’s competition, Coalgate and Darfield. met on the latter’s ground, Darfield winning by 13 runs. The scores were:— Darfield 100 (H. Otten 19, L. Westwood IS, T. Hennessey 13 not out, G. Porteous 10. T. Cooke 10). Coalgate 87 (W. Blight 39). Bowling for Darfield, L. Westwood took five wickets for 27 runs; G. Porteous, two for 33 ; R. Westwood, one for 5* and for Coalgate, Dr Dickson took three for 32; E. Charles, five for 55; and W. Blight, two for 11. BECKENHAM V. CUST. The annual cricket match Beckenham v. Oust was played at Cust on Monday, respiting in a win for Beckenham by 35 runs. Cust made 92 (H. Sail not out 29, G. Wheeler 22, R. Bordo 17). Bowling for Beckenham, L. Carlyle took four wickets for 18 runs, C. Cox one for 12, W. Clark: on three for 31. Beckenham made 127 (W. Lawson retired 35, T. Griffiths retired 22, L. Carlyle 9. N. Vivian 10, E. Kent not out 30). Bowling foi* Cust, W. Sail took four wickets for 22 runs, R. Bordo three for 25. VETERANS’ CLUB. The Veterans will meet Boon’s Sports Club in a match at liagley Park to-mor-row, at 2 p.m.
