MAGISTRATE’S COURT.
CHRISTCHURCH. (Before Mr 'E. C. Lewey, S.M.) REMANDED. Ernest Grey Roach, aged twenty-two years, was charged with forging a Post Office Savings Bank withdrawal receipt for the sum of £45 10s, at Christchurch. on September 7. On the application of Chief-Detective Carroll the accused was remanded + o appear on September 29. MAINTENANCE ORDER. Hector James M'Donald was charged with disobeying a maintenance oiler. On the application of the police accused was remanded to appear on October 29. ALLEGED FALSE DOCUMENT. Charles Wright, aged twenty-two, was charged that, on or about May 5, at Temuka, he made a false document, knowing it to be false, with intent that it should be acted upon as genuine. The accused was remanded to appear at Timaru on November 5. Bail was allowed on his own deposit of £25.
