NEW WHALING FACTORY SHIP AT DUNEDIN.

Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, October 27. Southern Princess, the Norwegian whaling factory ship, direct from England, accompanied by her five chasers, arrived off the heads yesterday and berthed at Port Chalmers this morning to take in water and thirty Dunedin men engaged for work in the Ross Sea. When converted from an oil tanker the Southern Princess’s registration was fixed as Dunedin, and it is expected that during the off season her base will be in Otago harbour.
