SALE OF PAINTINGS.
Many lovers of art have already ad mired the fine collection of oil paintings, water-colours, French and other etchings by the artists represented, who have very high Continental and Australasian reputations. The paintings by M’Cullock Robertson, R.W.S., Tom M’Kav. Forest Niven, David Martin and others are of high artistic merit Art lovers should not fail to accept the invitation extended by Messrs Jones. M’Crostie and Co. to view them as advertised, and obtain catalogues. There are some beautiful studies by John Glover, Alexander Kerr, of Victoria, and J. Douglas Perrett, whose work has a charm that always pleases. Space will not permit us to review the pic tures in detail, but those who visit the rooms will not be disappointed. The sale takes place next Friday at 1.30 p.m., as announced in our advertising columns. 7
