A cable this morning states that a portion of an aeroplane wing was found on the rocks near Cape Banks lighthouse, about half-way between Melbourne and Adelaide. Speculation is rife as to whether it formed part of the machine Ao-tea-Roa, in which Hood and Moncrieff attempted to fly the Tasman in January, 1928.
