CHILDREN ARE TO HAVE PLAYROOM AT FRESH-AIR HOME.
It was reported to the Hospital Board to-day that Mrs J. C. Holmes had collected the sum of £2O for a playroom at the children’s fresh-air home on the Port Hills, Mr L. B. Evans, chairman of the Finance Committee, stated that the tenders had exceeded the estimate. The committee was authorised to spend £422 on the work.
