QUARRYMAN KILLED BY FALL AT MOSGIEL.
Per Press Association. DUNEDIN. October 15. While working in a quarry at Mosgiel yesterday, William James Pearson, a married man, fell 45ft and was killed instantly. He had gone up the face to loosen stone after a blast, and apparently lost his hold on the rope.
