LEAGUE COMMITTEE HOLDS MEETING. The Management Committee of the Canterbury Rugby League met last evening, Mr J. K. Worrall presiding. An application by the Linwood Club for financial assistance for a member injured in a junior match at Dunedin, was referred to the Finance CoramitThe secretary of the New Zealand League advised that the South Sydney team at present in Auckland would be unable to visit Christchurch, but the League hoped to arrange for another Sydney club team, probably University, to visit Christchurch and other South Island towns at the beginning of next The’secretary (Mr S.
