PRESBYTERY EXPENSES ARE TO BE REVIEWED.
That the expenses of the Christchurch Presbytery were-increasing to such an extent that a review was necessary was the opinion expressed at a meeting this morning by the chairman of the Propertv and Finance Committee. Mr W. il. Rose.
Mr Rose said that travelling expenses to the Presbytery amounted to £l3 in 1922, £2l in 1923. £l3 in 1921, £23 in 1925, £3O in 1920, £23 in 1927, £27 in 1928 and £4l in 1929. He moved that the Property and Finance Committee, with the addition of the Revs Theo Patter son and J. C. Young, should be appointed to investigate and report on Presbytery expenses to the next meeting. ■ The motion was carried.
