BETTER TRADE WITH THE EAST WANTED,
Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, October 15. The desirability of New Zealand exploiting Eastern markets for the disposal of its surplus products was expressed at the Chambers of Commerce Conference to-day, and at the suggestion of Mr Jas. Milne (Wellington) the conference noted with satisfaction the interest of the Prime Minister in fostering a better trade connection between the Dominion and the Far East.
