FORGED LETTER CAUSES SENSATION IN GERMANY.

(United Press Assn.—-By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received October 15, 2 p.m.) BERLIN, October 14. A sensation has been caused by the publication in the “Lokalanzeiger’* of an article ostensibly written by General von Seeckt, urging the reorganisation of the espionage service, and quoting an anonymous British expert on the next war. He proceeds to urge penetration into their adversaries’ chemical and munitions industries so as to be able to blot them out with bombs in war time. General von Seeckt indignantly denies the authorship of the article, and the police are trying to trace the forger. —Australian Press Association.
