Typhoid Cases In Wellington.
RAW OYSTERS MAY HAVE BEEN CAUSE. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON. October 14. Three cases of typhoid'fever are in the Wellington Hospital. The Health Department states that the only feature in common is -that each patient had been eating raw oysters. Besides the Christchurch cases, there are some in other South Island towns and in these cases also raw oysters are blamed. The Department advises people not to eat oysters in the meantime, unless they are well cooked.
