HATRY AGAIN REFUSED BAIL—WAKEFIELD CLERK GIVES EVIDENCE (United Press Assn —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received October 12 11.30 a.m.) LONDON October 11 Hatry and his co-defendants were reanded till October 14 Bail was reused. Abram Allibone. town clerk of Wakefield. gave evidence that Corporation ind General Securities issued the Wakefield loan of £750.000 in January Dixon decided that £50,000 be rejnitted in March, and £IOO,OOO at the end ai August. Wakefield only received £IOO,OOO. Dixon promised to remit £200,000 early in September and to in vest the balance, but failed to do so. Albert Cutterbuck, City Treasurer of Gloucester, gave evidence that the Cor potation and General Securities issued in January a £500.000 loan on behalf of Gloucester, which was to receive the money in instalments, but not to pay the expenses of the issue. The city by August had received only £250,000 Applications for the registration of scrip amounted to £7so,ooo.—Austlalian Press Association
