SHIPPING NOTES. Cygnet arrived this morning from Kaikoura. She is loading at Lyttelton to-day and will leave to-morrow at midnight for Kaikoura and "WellingWaiplata arrived this morning from Timaru to continue her loading for Wellington and Auckland. The vessel will leave Lyttelton on Monday for the north. Totara, from Wellington, is expected to-morrow to load on Monday for Wellington and New Plymouth. Wingatui, from Auckland via Wellington, Is due to-morrow to load for Oamaru, Dunedin and Timaru. Waipahi should reach Lyttelton on Wednesday from Portland via Auckland with cement. The vessel will load for Auckland on discharging. Mako is expected at Lyttelton to-day from Gisborne to load for Waikokopu, Toiaga Bay and Tokomaru Bay. Kahika loads at Lyttelton on Thursday for Napier and Gisborne. The vessel is expected on Thursday morning from Dunedin via Oamaru and Timaru. Waikouaiti, from Port Kembla via Port Stephens and Sydney, is expected on Friday next via Bluff, Dunedin and Timaru. Kurow, from Auckland via Wellington, is an expected arrival here on October 19. The vessel will complete unloading at Dunedin and Bluff, and later returns here to load for Wellington and Auckland. Corinna will load at Lyttelton on Saturday, October 19, for Nelson and New Plymouth. Storm arrived at Lyttelton this morning from southern ports to load for Wellington, Picton and Wanganui. Calm is now due on Tuesday from Wellington to load for Bluff, Dunedin and Timaru. Breeze Is due at Lyttelton to-morrow from Wanganui direct with sheep. On Monday the vessel proceeds to Dunedin, and should return to Lyttelton on Wednesday to load for northern ports. Foxton, from Foxton via Wellington, is expected on Tuesday, and should sail the same evening on tlie return trip for Foxton. RARANGA LOADING. The Raranga will be despatched from Lyttelton on Monday afternoon for New Plymouth and Auckland, at which ports she will complete loading for Canadian and American ports. THE TAMAROA. , The Shaw, Savill and* Albion Company's liner Tamaroa, which reached Lyttelton yesterday afternoon from Auckland direct, should have her loading completed by Monday evening, when she will leave for Napier and Auckland. CITY OF DALHART. City of Dalhart cleared New York on Monday, and is expected to arrive at Wellington on November 5. RADIO FROM TREDINNICK. [ A further conference was held this morning at the Government Marine Department offices between the master or the. steamer Lawbeath (Captain MacFadyen) and members of the crew and their legal representatives. The eonfer--1 ence was abortive, and It was announced that no further conferences will be held, but that legal proceedings against the men will be Instituted. A trader named Lazarus has been missing for several months from th# British Solomon Islands in the auxiliary vessel Hart. A search by the Goveyiment steamer Ranadi proved fruitless. The High Commissioner at Suva today received a wireless message from the Resident Commissioner in the Solomons to the effect that he was pleased to report that Lazarus had been picked up by a trader named Jones at Nucapu and is now with his crew at the reef on the island, awaiting the mission yacht Southern Cross to proceed to Tulagai.—Australian Press Association,
