VALUELESS CHEQUES ISSUED IN NORTH.
Per Press Association. PALMERSTON N, October 12. In the Magistrate’s Court, Arthur Jeffrey Durrant, aged 40, was sentenced to four months’ hard labour on each of six charges of issuing valueless cheques, the sentences to be cumulative. The offences occurred in Nelson, Palmerston North, Napier and Hastings.
