NO FURTHER CASES ARE REPORTED THIS MORNING,
" At the present time it is desirable for people to avoid watercress, and to cook oysters before they are eaten," 'said Dr V. Fletcher Telford, Medical Officer of Health, this morning. "Oysters," he added, "do not keep well this month." Dr Telford reported that there were no more cases of typhoid, beyond the six that have already been reported in the metropolian area. He refused to say where the six cases had occurred, beyond the fact that they were in the metropolitan area, which embraces Lyttelton and Kaiapoi. f/mmifiiiiriiifiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiifiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiLuiinrnffliimmiimin
