The South Christchurch Branch of the New Zealand Labour Party has passed a motion heartily supporting the City Council in its action in removing the fence from Sydenham Park. The Education Department has made grants for additional accommodation at the Owenga School, Chatham Islands, for outbuildings at the Temuka School, and for outbuildings at the Ashburton Forks School.
