SUNBEAM KINDERGARTEN.
A meeting of the committee of the Sunbeam Kindergarten was held in the schoolroom. Present: Mrs J. R. Evans, (in the chair), Mrs F. Fairclough, Mrs R B. Cape-Williamson, Mrs P. Carlisle and Miss Dawe. Apologies for absence were received from Mrs F. Freeman and Mrs E. Milnes. September being the end of the third quarter, it was re ported that the returns were as fol lows: Present roll number 40, highest attendance 35; lowest attendance 9 (wet day) ; average attendance 305 The subscriptions for the month were £5 14s 9d. V’isitors during the month were Mr and Mrs Bridgewater and Miss M’Clay, who were very interested in the work of the children. The Sunbeams’ eighteenth birthday would be celebrated on October 17. Votes of thank? were passed to Mrs Friedlander for a new gramophone record and to Mr Gill for mending stretchers and toys. ____________________
