BENZINE INSTEAD OF KEROSENE WAS USED IN A STORE.
Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, September 26. R. Stevenson, a single man, thirtyfive years of age, employed by the Public Works Department, used benzine in mistake for kerosene when lighting a heating stove in the office at Wark worth. He was thrown some distance and enveloped in flames. Practically all his clothing was burnt off his body before other employees could help. He was removed to the Warkworth hospital in a serious condition.
