LINWOOD CLUB. ANNUAL REPORT. The annual report of the Linwood Lawn Tennis Club, which will be presented to the forty-fourth annual meeting of the club to-night, states that the past season had again been a very successful one, and the club still maintained its position of being one of the largest asphalt clubs in the Dominion. The past season han seen the completion of the new pavilion and this substantial building had greatly improved the club’s property and should be a means of fostering the social side of the club’s activities to a greater extent than in the past. At the last annual meeting the committee were authorised to borrow up to £IOOO, but found that only a loan of £BOO was necessary, which was obtained from the United Building Society at 7 per cent over a period of fourteen years.
