FOOTBALL CLUB DANCE.
The Marist Association Football Club held their annual dance at Dixieland last night. The Dixieland Orchestra provided the music, and the Dance Committee, Messrs M. George, R. Fleete, J. O’Brien. E. Shirley, D. M’Glinchy, and M. M'Kendry, with Mr H. Grimes as an energetic secretary are to be complimented upon the success of their efforts. Among the guests was the patron of the Canterbury Football Association, Mr R. English and Mrs English, and Mr J. Jen nings representing the Canterbury Football Association, Mrs Jennings. Mesdames J. O'Brien, J. Dyer, T. Kennedy, J. Qualtrougu, *.nd James Rose, Misses Gwen Fisher, Isa Logie. Doris M’Kay, E. Toal, J. Low. M. M’Cone, D. Quin, M. and N. Michael, V. Waters. J. Smith, I. Milligan. Eva Barrett, Doreen Griffin, Kathleen Macer, Wyn Conyers, E. Love, Phyllis Costello. Nina English, R. M’Guinness, R. Price. E. Fallen, Margaret Woodham. Sadie M’Glinchy, Pat Clark, Marie Birchfield, Vera Ingham, and Mary Grimes.
