(Received August 7, 11.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, August 7. THERE was a dramatic development yesterday in the case in which Walter Pearson was charged with murder and attempted murder. Mrs Pearson left hospital against the advice of the hospital authorities, both her arms being still partially paralysed. “ I am going to find out what is going on. I am not a prisoner,” she declared.—Australian Press Association. Walter Pearson, who has married three times, was arrested and charged with murdering his second wife in 1923 and with attempting to murder his present wife by administering poison. Mrs Pearson is a New Zealander. Food taken to her in hospital b> Pearson was seized by the police for analysis.
