OBITUARY.

MRS L. WITTY. Mrs Louisa Witty, wife of the Hon G. Witty, passed away on Thursday at her residence, Avonhead, Upper Riccarton, at the age of sixty-five years. Mrs Witty was an old resident of Upper Riccarton, where she had many friends. She leaves four sons, Messrs Collin, Thomas, Charles, and Frederick Witty, and four daughters, Mrs G. Franks, Mrs C. Ellis, Mrs Pope, and Miss Witty. She will be buried in the churchyard of the Upper Riccarton Church to-day. the funeral leaving the residence at 2 p.m. _______________
