A Kurri message states that following a shooting tragedy five miles from the township of Mulbring, Harold Beattie trudged wearily back to civilisation with the body of his dead mate. 1 O’Donnell, slung across his shouldei The men were shooting rabbits when a gun exploded and the right side of O’Donnell’s face was blown .way. He died three-quarters of an hour later. Beattie carried the body back to Mulbring.—Australian Press Association.
