YOUNG MAN KNOCKED DOWN BY MOTOR-CAR ON YALDHURST ROAD.
A young man named Frederick Collins, employed as a porter at the Islington Hotel, had his hip injured through being struck by a motor-car travelling on the Yaldhurst Road last night. It is stated that the driver of the car did not stop after the accident. Collins, whom the impact caused to spin round on his feet yvo or three times, remained on the roadside until an ambulance van from the hospital brought him in at 11.45 p.m. Collins is not on the seriously ill list, and his condition was reported this morning to be satisfactory.
