MEN ARE PLACED ON RELIEF WORKS TO-DAY.

Eighty-six men were given work this morning by the Labour Department’s Unemployment Bureau. Of these, Go were placed on City Council relief works, 20 with the Public Works Department and one with a private employer. Seventeen married and three single men registered to-day as unemployed.
