FOR SALE BOARDS ARE DIMINISHING IN CITY.

The decision of the executive of the Christchurcch real estate agents to do away with the “ For Sale ’* board method of letting home-seekers know that houses and properties are for sale is being carried out, and the number of these notices has greatly decreased in the city. The executive decided that no more “ For Sale ” boards would be erected after June 30 last, and their decision is being given effect to, except in the case of empty sections and unoc cupied houses. Mr C. E. Jones, a member of the wellknown real estate firm in Christchurch, said this morning that all firms were doing their part, and. as far as he knew, no additional boards had been put up. On the other hand, many had been taken down.
