POLICE SEARCH HOUSE AND SEIZE JEWELLERY; TWO MEN ARRESTED.

Per Press Association. AUCKLAND. July 5. Detectives searched a house in Cook Street and seized a considerable quantity of jewellery. They arrested George Lee, aged 36, a boilermaker, and Edward James Eusden, aged 35, a waterside worker. At the Police Court. Eusden was charged with stealing jewellery valued at £SO, belonging to a person unknown, and Lee with receiving jewellery valued at £SO, knowing it to have been dishonestly obtained. They were remanded on bail of £IOO each.
