Tomorrow at Wesley Church, Fitzgerald Avenue, the choir will hold its third annual festival. The preachers will be, 11 a.m., the Rev H. Sharp; 6.30 p.m.. the Rev W. Greenslade. In the afternoon, at three o’clock, the choir will present the sacred cantata, “The World's Redemption” (Hemery). At the conclusion of the evening service there will be a sacred musical programme. Captain John Walker, of Reefton, organiser of the West Coast party of refugees, will be the principal speaker at the Salvation Army Sunday evening service in the citadel, Victoria Square. Ensign ABato Montgomery will conduct a special sefvic* at three o'clock, when the unemployed of Christchurch will attend as a body. They will be marched from the Square at 2.45, headed by the citadel band. The speaker will be the Rev W. T. Blight, B A., of rhristchtirch.
