CANTERBURY EXECUTIVE. The executive of the Canterbury Rugby League met last night, Mr J. K. Worrall presiding over an attendance . of eleven. The Otago League wrote stating that Mr IS. Watson was nominated as Otago’s selector for the South Island, team, which will play against the North Island at Auckland on September 7. Mr J. IC. Worrall was appointed Canterbury selector for the South Island C {t^was decided to challenge the Auckland representative team to a match at Auckland, on a date to be arranged. Mr L. A meeting of the Junior Advisory Board of the Canterbury Rugby League was held last night. Mr H. King prePermission was given for the Addington Fourth Grade team to withdraw from the competition, owing to recent inability to field a full thirteen. The following were appointed selectors for the Canterbury junior representative team: Messrs P. Cotton, J. M’Quillan and J.
