Lincoln’s Inn.
The gatehouse of Lincoln's Inn. foimdcd in 1313 by Thomas de Lincoln, a King’s Serjeant, is one of the most picturesque backwaters of gardens and mellow buildings in London. Behind the gatehouse of 1518 is the old hall, built in 1490, the Gothic chapel by Inigo Jones, and the new hall and the library of 1842.
