ALL MINES WORK AT GREYMOUTH.

REPORTS OF DAMAGE TO TOWN WERE NOT EXAGGERATED

GREYMOUTH. June IS. Earth tremors continued at fairly frequent intervals throughout the night, the last being experienced at 7 a.m. All the mines were working to-day, except the State mine. Investigation of the damage caused in the town proves that yesterday's reports were not exaggerated. A slip at Kotuku on the Otira line has stopped train traffic. It is hoped to resume to-morrow.
