ANOTHER MEETING MAY BE HELD TO DISCUSS REPARATIONS.

(United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.)

(Received June 17, 1.30 p.m.) RUGBY, June 16

Mr Arthur Henderson, in a recent interview, indicated that before any further step was taken regarding Re parations the Government would require time to study carefully the report of the experts embodying the Owen Young plan, and to ascertain the views of the other Governments concerned. It is possible that an exchange of views between the Reparation Powers will take place at a conference specially called for the purpose. In the course of conversations yester day at Madrid, where they are delegates to the League Council meeting, M Briand and Dr Stresemann discussed the project, and the suggestion that the meeting might conveniently take place at the end of July or early in August. The v-JeWs of the British Government are being sought as to a suitable rendezvous, and there is a possibility of the meeting being held in London, which was the scene of the meet> ing which adopted the Dawes plan in 1924. Mr MacDonald was also Prime Minister at that time, June 16.—British Official Wireless.
