Central Executive of the Soviet Union has elected M. Rykof president of the People’s Commissars, which is equivalent to the Prime Ministership.

M. Tchicherin was re-elected Foreign Affairs Commissar. An Astrakhan message states that the Soviet arrested 200 officials of Government co-operative organisations there on charges of bribery, corruption, and alleged illicitly profiting from trade with capitalists.—Australian Press Association.
