MEN FROM THE LAND OF BUTTER

TARANAKI FARMERS PASS THROUGH CITY.

Two hundred Taranaki farmers arrived from Wellington by the ferry steamer this morning, and passed through Christchurch by special train bound for Invercargill. They will return to Christchurch on Friday, June 7. On the following day they will visit Lincoln College. The next day, Sunday, will be a quiet one. A round trip from Christchurch to West Oxford, via Sheffield, and returning via Rangiora, has been arranged for the visitors by the Railway Department. The excursionists will leave for Wellington by the ferry steamer the same evening.
