All the attaches at Melbourne’s motor show were deeply interested in a German car which boasts of no carburetter or ignition, but fires with the heat of the cylinder and runs on crude oiL at 5d a gallon (says the Sydney “Bulletin”). With the politicians contemplating another raid on the motorist in the shape of an extra petrol tax, the last item looked as important as anything in the exhibition.
