ELECTRICAL WIREMEN’S EXAMINATION RESULTS ARE ANNOUNCED.

The results of the Electrical Wiremen’s examination held in March, have been gazetted. The examination figures show that in Auckland, 62 candidates sat for the written part of the examination, and eighteen passed, while in the practical part twenty candidates passed out of fifty-eight. Of the twenty-two Dunedin candidates who sat for the written part, four were successful, and in the practical section five passed out of fourteen. In the Wellington centre, only seven candidates out of fifty-nine passed the written part of the examination, while there were twenty successful candidates out of fifty-one in the practical sec-' tion. Only two of the twenty-three Christchurch candidates got through the theory part, and three out of twentyfive passed the practical part. Two of the ten Greymouth candidates were successful in the written part, but in the practcial section all seven candidates failed. Of the four Westport candidates two passed the written part of the examination, but botjh candidates in the written section failed. The highest marks obtained in the written part were 84, and in the practical part 86. (The maximum marks obtainable in each case being 100). The successful candidates in the Christchurch, Greymouth and Westport centres are:— Written Part. Christchurch—F. Galletlev, E. E. Griffiths. Greymouth—J. Ashurst, J. W. Grant. Westport—>C. E. Austin, J. H. M. Williams. Practical Part. Christchurch—A. C. C. Clerk, G. Flower, W. J. French.
