BANK DANCE.
The v staff of the National Bank of New Zealand, Ltd., were early in the field this year, their annual dance being held last night in the Winter. Garden. It was a most enjoyable gathering, and its success was due mainly to the excellent arrangements of the committee—Miss I. Graham, Miss 11. M. Harrison, Messrs A. T. Bolam (secretary), W. F. Hamilton, W. J. Payne, T. A. Taylor and E. A. Vial.
Mr J. S. Middleton, manager of the Christchurch branch, and Miss Fanny Middleton were present as guests of the committee, who had extended invitations also to Mr and Mrs R. A. Barnsdale, Mr and Mrs D. Robertson, Mr and Mrs A. V. Winchester, and Mr and Mrs K. M. Ollivier.
