A medal handicap will be played on the Avondale Links on Saturday for a trophy presented by Messrs Van Staveren Bros, to commemorate the second occasion on which the club’s vice-pre-sident, Mr L. J. Lewis, performed a

“ hole-in-one.” The draw for this match will be published to-morrow. On King’s Birthday a bogey handicap is programmed for the morning, and players must start before 10.30. In the afternoon a mixed four-ball bogey handicap will be played for the vice-presi-dents’ trophies. Players will arrange their own partners and opponents.
