The Rev R. de Lambert was the preacher. The mild conditions prevailing at Sumner yesterday attracted a lar£e number of visitors. Early in the afternoon the parking areas at Scarborough and near Cave Rock were througed with motor-cars which arrived in a long closely-formed procession. The newlysown areas of grass lawns were looking at their best, and were very favourablycommented upon. Many of the cars did not leave till well after four o’clock.
