The waistline was relieved with French flowers in the shape of a posy, which was encircled with silver lace. She also wore a pretty peach beige felt hat trimmed with silver and carried a shower bouquet of delicate shades tinted to tone with her frock. A little flower girl, Ngaire Nicholls, niece of the bridegroom, held the bride’s veil. She wore an eau-de-nil French model crepe de chine frock which was pleated in tiny pleats from yoke to hem. A wreath of dainty pink and silver flowers encircled her head and she carried a tiny posy.
