FACTORY FORCED TO CLOSE DOWN.
(Received May 27, 10.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, May 27. Continuation of the coal strike led to the closing down of the Crystal Glass Company at Alexandria. More than 100 men were thrown out of employment, and the factory will not reopen until coal from the northern fields is available in sufficient quantities.— Australian Press Association.
