SCHOONER PIRI HAS TO RESORT TO JURY RUDDER.
Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, April 16. The auxiliary schooner Piri, bound from Melbourne to Greymouth, lost her •rudder in a storm when 250 miles off Sydney. She put into Port Jackson with a jury rudder. The vessel was diverted to Auckland, and arrived this morning, experiencing fine weather on the trip.
