PORTLAND VASE TO BE SOLD AT CHRISTIE’S.
(United Press Assn.—By Electrl# Telegraph—Copyright). (Received March 7, 1.25 p.m.) LONDON, March 6. It is officially announced that the Portland Vase, fhe most famous glass vessel in the world, will shortly be sold at Christie’s. It has been in the British Museum for 119 years, on loan bv the Dukes of Portland. It is expected to realise between £50,000 and £loo,oooAustralian Press Association.
