SPRINGSTON SOUTH DOMAIN BOARD.
A meeting: of the Springston South Domain Board was held at the boards office this morning; present—Messrs K. J. Harris (chairman), P. ,1. de la Pour, S. F. Barnett and <\ Wolfe.
The statement of receipts and expenditure showed a total credit balance at the bank and Post Office of £179.
The hoard decided, in the absence of action by the Hut Owners’ Association regarding the naming of streets, that the matter should be held over. It was regretted by the board that a lack of activity was being shown by the Hut Owners' Association, and it was hoped that it would revive again soon. Per mission to use the Domain was granted to the following: D. H. Brown and Son, February 16. It was resolved that the maximum fee for use of the Domain should be 30s, with 10s extra fee for use of tennis courts. Tn regard to parties of thirty and under, the amount was fixed at £l, with 10s extra for use of the courts. The secretary was also given power to give permission for use of the Domain. In regard to the sewerage scheme, the action of the Urounds Committee regarding Mr Daniel’s quotation of £6 10s for providing and fixing ball-cocks to flush tanks was approved. The following transfers were approved- Section 8, Estate G. H. Rudd to K J Jamieson. Section 89, F. Brown to Mrs H. G. Brown.
