FINE PICTURE NOW AT CONCERT HALL
The wonderful Admiralty film, “ The Flag Lieutenant,” is drawing large and appreciative audiences at the Municipal
Theatre. The film is one that appeals to all. The phgtography is excellent while the story of one man’s sacrifice for another and all that it means to those concerned, makes a direct heart appeal. But, perhaps, best of all is the Empire aspect of the whole programme. Opening with the authentic life-story of H.R.H. the Prince of Wales, one is taken into the days of Queen Victoria, then King Edward and Queen Alexandra, and to the present day with the father and mother of the Prince, their Majesties King George and Queen Mary. The film then follows the Prince on his Empire mission around the world. “ The Flag Lieutenant ” had the full co-operation of the British Admiralty in the making. The box plan is now open at The Bristol until five each afternoon and then at the Municipal Theatre, telephone 9124.
