The Rev Hector N. Maclean, IST.A Ph.D., will be inducted into the pastoral charge of the New Brighton Presbyterian Church to-morrow evening.
The highest tennis court in New Zealand, 2450 feet above sea level, will shortly be opened for play. It has been constructed by residents of the railway settlement at Arthur’s Pass, and they hope to have some games on the court before Christmas.
