Harland, 0 wins. Mr Harland has still another chance, as each player must be defeated twice before elimination. H. E. Carter and N. Morgan are to meet, in the final of the winners’ class. The other players left in the losers’ class are Harland, D'eubow and Carryer. Mr Sargison, after his good performance in the preliminary round, retired, much to the regret of the competitors. An interesting match, Canada-East v. West, was played at Vancouver in August. There were eight players aside, the play lastjpg a week. West won by 54 wins to 28, and 94 draws.
